Scotland
  • Craig Anderson
    From Arbroath CC Craig is a right handed opening bowler and in his own words "an underestimated batsman". Fresh from the Under 19 qualifiers in Holland he is steadily making his way up the opening bowler rankings.
  • Kyle Coetzer
    A top order right hand batsman and medium pace bowler Kyle is presently attending the Durham Cricket Academy where he is having a successful season. From the Stoneywood Dyce CC in the north of Scotland he too was in Holland recently with the Under 19 team, after which he flew directly to join the Saltires squad making his national Cricket League debut against Northamptonshire Steelbacks.
  • Ian Cran
    A left arm opening bowler Ian has made a tremendous impact this season for his club Aberdeenshire with some excellent displays with the new ball. This is his first representative outing for Scotland and is a testament to his hard work over the past 2 seasons.
  • Gordon Drummond
    Right arm medium paced bowler and right handed middle order batsman. Gordon plays for Watsonians CC in Edinburgh and has represented Scotland at all under age levels. He is currently the assistant coach to the Scottish under 15 team.
  • Steven Gilmour
    From The West of Scotland club Steven is a right handed middle order batsman and off spin bowler. He made his debut for the full Scotland side in 2000 and has 4 caps to date. Currently studying Sports Science at Edinburgh University.
  • Majid Haq
    Majid is currently the front line spinner with the full national side and is having a very successful season in the National Cricket League. His off spin coupled with an attacking left handed batting style which saw an impressive 55* against Durham CCC in the National League make him an excellent all round cricketer. He plays for Ferguslie CC and is studying Accountancy at Paisley University.
  • Omer Hussain
    Omer has come through the ranks of junior international cricket and his making his debut at Under 23 level. A left handed aggressive middle order batsman he plays for the Ferguslie CC in Paisley. Omer was a member of the Scotland Under 19 team which recently qualified for the finals of the Youth World Cup.
  • Kevin McLaren
    Left hand top order batsman and right arm off-spin bowler Kevin plays for Heriots CC in Edinburgh. Previously with Penicuik CC and Maroochydore CC in Australia he is an energetic and enthusiastic fielder who has made big strides this season bringing him to the attention of the national selectors.
  • Robert More
    A left hand opening bat Robert captained Scotland in the ICC Youth World Cup in New Zealand in 2002. This is his second appearance in the Under 23 Championships. He made his full Scotland debut in 2002 making 81 against MCC at Lord's. He is currently studying law at Edinburgh University.
  • Dewald Nel
    Born in South Africa Dewald is a fast medium right hand bowler and right hand lower middle order batsman. Playing for Watsonians CC in Edinburgh he is making his representative debut for Scotland having attended Watsons School from the time of his arrival in Scotland in 1998. He is currently studying Leisure Management.
  • Alastair Rawlinson
    A slow left arm bowler Alistair plays for the Drumpellier club near Glasgow where he describes his lower order batting as "handy". An excellent season has brought him back to the attention of the selectors.
  • Simon Smith
    Wicket keeper and right hand bat Simon plays for the powerful Grange CC in Edinburgh and is making his debut at Under 23 level. A product of Loughborough University he is also a member of the MCC.
  • Fraser Watts (captain)
    Right handed top order batsman and medium paced seam bowler. Fraser plays for Carlton CC in Edinburgh having played previously for Loughborough University and Richmond CC (Melbourne). He has played 15 times for the full Scotland side and is a current member of the Saltires squad playing in the National Cricket League.
