Pakistan Women crush Ireland
Pakistan Women completed their tour of Ireland with resounding wins against Ireland and Bangladesh to clinch the T20 series crown to add to their victory in the ODI series last week. A brilliant all-round display from Sana Mir saw her take 3 for 13 to restrict the Irish to a very modest 81 for 6, and then struck an unbeaten 33 as Pakistan won the game with 4.5 overs to spare.
Missing Isobel Joyce through injury, the Irish once again found boundaries at a premium, managing just four in their entiure innings.
Cecelia Joyce top scored with 29, while Eimear Richardson (15) and Clare Shillington (10) were the other platers to reach double figures.
Kim Garth gave the Irish early hope when she dismissed Qanita Jalil for 0, but a seocnd wicket stand of 72 between Mir and Nida Dar (46) ensured the result was never really in any doubt.
Kim Garth and Amy Kenealy were the Irish wicket takers in the eight wicket defeat - both claiming 1 for 16.
Pakistan ran out six wicket winners against Bangladesh in the final game of the series after restricting their opponents to just 96.
