Nepal have included two Under 19 players, Kushal Malla and Ishan Pandey, for the forthcoming tours to Singapore and Oman. Sushan Bhari, Arif Sheikh and Sandeep Jora have also been brought back into the national team.

Captain Paras Khadka said that the national team’s door was open to anyone who performed well and added that both Malla and Pandey were in the team on merit.

"Whoever plays well will get a chance. We hope now these young boys will step up and show us what they can do," said Khadka during the press conference to release the names.

Sandeep Lamichhane, Binod Bhandari, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Abinash Bohora, Dipendra Singh Airee, Rohit Kumar Paudel and Pawan Saraff make up the rest of the team.

However, there are some notable absentees as spinner Basanta Regmi and Sharad Vesawkar both miss out along with vice-captain Gyanendra Malla who pulled out of the tour citing personal reasons.

Nepal are due to play a T20 series against Zimbabwe and Singapore in Singapore from September 27 to October 3. The team will then leave for Oman where they will take on Ireland, Hong Kong, Oman and the Netherlands in another T20 series due to start on October 5.
