Number three in David Potter's series shows a triumphant Scotland team in full voice as they return to the hotel on their bus from Clontarf after winning the ICC Trophy for the first time in 2005.

Scotland were the dominant team of the competition, and at the time were at the height of their powers having won the inaugural Intercontinental Cup the season before,

Team manager Euan McIntyre is on the phone relaying the good news, while the joy on the players face is plain to see.

Included in the photo are Colin Smith, Ryan Watson, Craig Wright, Gavin Hamilton, Dougie Brown, Dewald Nel, Fraser Watts, John Blain and a very young Kyle Coetzer.

Interestingly Willie Dick and David Kelso from the Scottish media are there - a sign of the good relations fostered between all at the time.

Also at the back of the bus both ICC High Performance Manager Richard Done and European Regional Manager Richard Holdsworth can be seen.

Scotland by finishing first qualified for the 2007 World Cup but drew the short straw in terms of being grouped with Australia and South Africa, enduring a miserable campaign which saw them also lose to fellow qualifiers The Netherlands.

This though was undoubtedly one of their finest hours, triumphing over bitter rivals Ireland on their home turf on a gloriously sunny afternoon.
