It's back to 2005 and Joe Curtis is glad he decided to capture a photograph of four men with hundreds of years experience between them.
20th August 2005
This photo was one of those ‘will I or won’t I ‘ photographs; I had been sitting about 50 metres from the bench where the four men were seated. It crossed my mind to let the moment pass, however I changed the camera lens and walked over and asked to take the photo.
I was conscious that seated there before me were four guys with a few hundred years of cricket experience between them.
All had a love of the sport and their knowledge of the game was always worthy of an ear.
They are left to right, Tom Murphy, Thomas McGrane, Tom Fanning and Kit Mooney.
