A photo of a very happy John Mooney after dismissing Trent Johnston is the latest photo by Joe Curtis to feature in our series.

20th August 2005

In a game of highs and lows John Boy Mooney’s face tells all when he removed Trent Johnston for 30 runs.

John Boy had been one of Trent’s four victims for only 38 runs and he needed to even the scales.

Other notable features in this game were Jason Brooker’s 100 although he too was to lose his wicket to Johnston.

Reinhardt Strydom was as reliable as ever with 73 runs.

North County went on to post 259 for their 50 overs and when Clontarf fell below the required run-rate they continued to lose wickets and their innings concluded in the 44th over and still 58 runs short of the target.
