It's the stumps of Niall O'Brien being sent flying by Mohammad Amir during Ireland's first Test match against Pakistan at Malahide which is the latest photograph by Rodney Smythe in our series.

These photographs were on Day Four of the game. Ireland were fighting back after a significant first innings deficit.

Niall made 18 before being dismissed - perhaps he should avoid looking at these!

Light fast bowlers I guess, one of the delights of cricket photography for me is the sight of stumps flying, this being a case in point.

It was particularly pleasing insofar as I don't recall any other photographer being at the Malahide Castle end for this ball as with all the restrictions on access, most positioned themselves at the other end near the media area.
