The top three sides in the Standard Bank Premiership won on Saturday. Leaders Peel and St John's dismissed Crosby for 147 with Nick Hawke taking 4 - 31. Harry Rothwell continued his good form by hitting 29 and Jack Rowlands made 26.

 

The Saints then romped to victory, thanks to a dynamic 64 not out from Ollie Webster. Tom Gascoyne scored 36 as his side won by eight wickets.

 

Castletown remain in second place after a close two wicket win against Ramsey. The northerners were bowled out for 125 with Richard Jackson taking 5 -23 and Ewan Quayle 4 -34. The Town lost eight wickets getting the runs. An injured Matt Ogden top scored on 24 while Brian Arnold claimed four wickets.

 

Cronkbourne turned in a good performance to overcome Valkyres by nine wickets. Chris Langford hit 31 to hold Valkyres together as they were dismissed for 101. Luke Lacey shone with 4 -19 and then making an incredible catch.

 

Rowan Bird took 3 -21 and Cronkbourne then knocked off the runs for the loss of one wicket. At the end Max Stokoe was 44 not out and skipper Steve Slack was 27 not out.
