In the afternoon games of European Division Two in Essex, there were wins for Gibraltar, Norway and Belgium.

Gibraltar's Scott Chipolina took 3 for 10 as Germany were restricted to 133 for 6.

Rishi Pillai top scored with 42 from 31 balls (6 fours, 1 six), while Khalid Khan blasted 3 sixes and a four in a rapid 34 from just 17 balls.

Gibraltar coasted to the six wicket win with two overs to spare, thanks to a solid batting display.

Ian Clark (34) and Mark Bacarese (24) got their side into a strong position, while Kayron Stagno hit 2 sixes and a four in his 29 not out from just 19 balls to seal the win.

Norway were 7 wicket winners over Austria in relatively low scoring affair.

Ansar Iqbal took 4 for 17 as Austria struggled to 101 for 9 - Shadnan Khan top scoring with 22.

Ehtsham Ul Haq's unbeaten 47 from 60 balls (6 fours) guided the Norwegians home - albeit with only four balls to spare.

The final game saw Belgium smash 186 for 4 against the Isle of Man.

Belgium skipper Abdul Rehman clubbed 8 sixes and 3 fours in a brutal 73 from just 30 balls, sharing a thrid wicket stand of 98 in just overs with Syed Jamil.

Jamil made 55 from 57 balls (6 fours), while Zimbabwean born Brighton Watambwa made a breezy 25 from 15 balls ( 2 fours, 2 sixes).

The Isle of Man were never in the hunt, although they made a respectable 140 for 9.
