Freddie Klokker and Rizwan Shah starred as Denmark edged out Oman by 13 runs in a thrilling contest reduced to 34 overs per side.
Klokker hit 46 from 37 balls (4 fours, 2 sixes), while Michael Pedersen (26) and Zishan Shah (23) chipped in to take take Denmark to 92 for 2 in the 18th over.
Their batting imploded, as they lost 8 wickets for just 45 runs, suffering four run outs and a final total of 137 looked to be well below par.
One of those run outs was a 'Mankad' incident, and perhaps fuelled by a sense of injustice, a galvanised Danish side fought tooth and nail to stay in the contest.
Zishan Shah (3-15) took crucial wickets as Oman looked on course for the win at 104 for 5, but it was perhaps fitting that the last man dismissed was Ajay Lalcheta, the bowler who had perpetrated the Mankad.
Amjad Khan (2-20) and Aftab Ahmed (2-22) were also among the wickets as Denmark went to the top of the table with the 13 run victory, as Oman were dismissed for 124.
