The second day of World Cricket League Division Four saw promoted side Malaysia beat Denmark to put themselves top of the table as the only unbeaten team.

A rain delay at the Kallang Ground meant that the match was reduced to 43 overs. Malaysia won the toss and put Denmark into bat. The opening pair of Zameer Khan and Freddie Klokker put on 51 for the opening wicket before Khan was the first man out.

Klokker went on to score 29, but his wicket was the start of a spell that saw Denmark lose four wickets for just seven runs in four overs, going from 70-1 to 77-5. The lower order recovered to take Denmark to a total of 171-8 from their 43 overs.

In reply, Malaysia lost four wickets early in their innings, but an unbroken partnership of 88 between Ahmed Fiaz and Aminuddin Ramly won the game for them. They scored 68 and 51 respectively as Malaysia completed a six wicket win with 5 overs to spare.

Tomorrow is a rest day in Singapore, and the teams will be back in action on Tuesday when Denmark will take Oman and Malaysia will take on their old rivals Singapore.
