An unbeaten 59 from James Wilkes-Green helped the Islanders to successfully chase a below par Dutch total of 172.
Still, that modest target had looked to be well out of their reach as Guernsey were reduced to 55 for 5 after an inspired spell from Mahesh Hans. The talented teenager had the superb analysis of 3 for 9 in his ten over spell.
However Wilkes-Green remained positive throughout his innings, scoring his 59 from just 64 balls (4 fours). He received stoic support in the form of the obdurate Toby Belton, who hit three boundaries in his 45 from 110 balls.
Matthew Stokes also batted sensibly, making an unbeaten 23 as the win was secured.
Earlier a combination of Luke Le Tissier (3-37) and three run outs saw The Netherlands collapse to 99 for 8 before a determined rearguard action gave the home side a fighting chance.
Wessel Coster (43) shared a 9th wicket partnership of 65 with Raoul Wouters (30) as their side managed 172 all out with one ball unused.
Mahesh Hans (24), Sikander Zulfiqar (22), and Rahil Ahmed were the other batsmen who reached double figures in a disappointing display.
The tournament ends on a high note for Guernsey with their first win, while for The Netherlands, there's bitter disappointment after starting the competition in such positive fashion with a victory over Ireland.
