Fox Lodge moved off the foot of the table as they came out on top of a feisty encounter at the Rectory to record a first league win of the season.

All the visitors' batsmen got among the runs without any of them pushing on- Andrew McGinnis, Brian Allen, Ritchie Devine and Jason Milligan all getting scores in the 30's in their total of 254.

Charlie Elder and professional Gavon Christian picked up 4 wickets each for the Bonds Street side who felt they had a chance at the half way stage.

Gordon Montgomery and Simon Killen posted 41 for the first wicket before Elder then followed up his bowling efforts with a well played half century in Glendermott's reply.

Skipper Montgomery eventually went for 47 and Elder 53 as Glendermott succumbed to some tight bowling from the Foxies' spinners, the hosts coming up well short in the end.

Four wickets apiece here for Iftikhar Hussain and Jonny Robinson as the Ballymagorry side claimed their first win of the season.
