Gibraltar defeated Israel by 43 runs in a relatively low scoring encounter at Les Quennevais.

Having been inserted by Israel, it was Dave Coram who once again led the way for Gibraltar. He has been their most consistent performer this week with the bat, and he top scored again for them with 32 from 34 balls, hitting one six and one four.

Iain Latin (16), Mark Bacarese (11) and Ian Farrell (10) were the other double figure contributors, but to be truthful a total of 110 all out looked to be below par at the halfway stage.

Skipper Herschel Gutman set an example by taking 3 for 15, while Josh Evans also bowled well to claim 3 for 19. The other wicket takers were David Massil (1-18), Eliezer Samson (1-25) and Yaniv Ravpurker (1-28).

In reply Andrew Reyes (2-12) and Mark Bacarese (1-7) had Israel in all sorts of trouble straight from the off, and at 44 for 7 there was to be no way back for them.

Eitamar Kehimkar with 18 was the only batsman to make double figures, before being dismissed by Kieron Ferrary (1-16), who showed his all-round abilities by taking off the wicket-keeping pads to claim the final wicket.

Ross Harkins bowled superbly to claim 3 for 6, while Iain Latin's leg spin saw him pick up 2 for 23 as Israel were all out for just 67 in 18.1 overs.
