Croatia are left in the relegation play-offs after a seven wicket defeat to Gibraltar at KGV today.

Batting first, Paul Vujnovich played an anchor role for Croatia in the early part of their innings, scoring 34 from 44 balls before he was out with the score on 76-4.

The middle order then took the score on to 120-5 in their 20 overs, which should have been a defendable target for their bowlers.

But Gibraltar set about their chase well, and chased down the target with one over to spare. Dave Coram top scored with 36 at a run a ball.

Croatia now will play Austria tomorrow, though they can't avoid playing in the relegation play-offs. Gibraltar will need to beat Guernsey if they are to avoid playing in the relegation play-offs.
