Slovenia stormed back from their morning's defeat at Velden on Wednesday to register an overwhelming 10-wicket victory over Turkey.
Lasantha Karunatilake and Mark Oman had little difficulty in reaching their target, taking just eight overs to knock off the runs after Turkey were dismissed for 86 in 18 overs. Karunatilake did the lion's share of the scoring with 44 from 27 deliveries, with eight fours and a six, while Oman made 25 from 23 balls.
Earlier, the Turks had found the going tough against a Slovenian attack which bowled much more purposefully than they had when Estonia were in full cry in the morning, although their total was augmented by no fewer than 29 wides.
Bradley Eve removed both openers at a cost of 14 runs in his four overs, while Stephen Mayland conceded 18 runs at the other end.
Only Hammad ul Haq (16) of the recognised batsmen was able to reach double figures, although Salman Ali chipped in with 15 towards the end, helping his side to recover a little from 52 for eight, but he was eventually last out as the innings closed with two overs remaining.
Oman worked his way through the middle order with three for 13, and there were two wickets apiece for Simon Kaucic and Nejc Zupan.
