Belgium had the quickest win of the day, their game against Hellas (Greece) ending just half an hour after lunch in an eight wickets victory.
Hellas, playing their first game of the tournament, were bowled out for 66 in just 22.5 overs with Naman Parikh, finishing with six for 16 from six overs. He was introduced as second change bowler in the 12th over by which time Hellas had only 13 runs on the board, albeit for the loss of only one wicket.
The wickets then started tumbling, however, with Parikh taking a wicket in his first over, two in both his second and third and yet another in his fourth by which time Hellas were 41 for eight.
Georgio Kantas then enjoyed himself at the end, hitting three fours, and he had reached 19 when he ran out of partners, Fraser McRae taking the last three wickets to finish with three for 15.
It was McRae who also hurried Belgium to their first win, scoring 45 out of 62 from 55 balls with four boundaries. Four balls later it was all over and the Belgians can look forward to a rest day on Monday while Hellas will look to improve against France.
