Guernsey completed a routine win against an Israel side clearly suffering the after affects of their demoralising loss to Norway yesterday.

After being inserted by Guernsey captain Stuart Le Prevost, the Israeli batsmen struggled to come to terms with the disciplined home attack. Only Eshkol Solomon with 33 from 50 balls (five fours) offered any real resistance, as all six Guernsey bowlers used claimed wickets. No other batsman reached double figures - extras with 15 making the next significant contribution.

Jeremy Frith (2-1), Johnny Warr (2-31) Jamie Nussbaumer (1-9), Gary Rich (1-1), Lee Savident (1-19), and Stuart Bisson all getting into the wicket taking column.

With rain threatening, Guernsey would have been keen to wrap the victory quickly, but a determined Israel ensured that the game continued beyond lunchtime. Ben Ferbrache (0) and Ross Kneller (3) fell early - Raymond Talkar and Yaniv Razporker claiming the wickets. Any jitters were soon settled by an unbroken third wicket stand of 83 in 128 balls between Stuart Le Prevost (42*) and Tim Ravenscroft (34*). Le Prevost struck five fours and the game's only six, while Ravenscroft found the boundary ropes four times.

Guernsey are next in action on Friday when they take on Germany at College Field.
