Two matches in the ICC World Cricket League Division 1, which had been scheduled to take place at Voorburg, have been moved to Schiedam, it was announced today.

The Canada v Kenya match on Friday followed by Saturday's fifth/sixth-place play-off will now be played at Excelsior Cricket Club instead of VCC.

Tournament director Rob Kemming said: “The decision to move the matches from Voorburg to Schiedam has been taken by the event technical committee after due consideration and consultation following feedback and reports we received on the current state of the pitches at VCC from the match officials, team managements and the ICC's own pitch consultant.

“We want to provide the players with the best available playing surfaces which I think Excelsior Cricket Club will now be able to offer.”
