Waringstown claimed the Premiership title with a nail-biting win over their nearest challengers Woodvale. The Ballygomartin side produced a solid batting effort to get to 196 with Carl Robinson top-scoring with 37, and 27 apiece for Jamie Gibson and Ronan Restieaux. Greg Thompson claimed four wickets while James Mitchell picked up two, including the prize scalp of Ruhan Pretorius for just a single. Pretorius removed Adam Dennison for 0 as the chase got off to a nervy start. James McCollum (41) shared stands of 44 with Sam Topping (24) and Matthew Halliday (40), with the latter adding a further 61 with Graham Hume to take the visitors to 149 for 3. There was a bit of a late wobble, but Hume's unbeaten 55 (4 fours, 3 sixes) ensured the two wickets win that brought the trophy to The Lawn.

Cliftonville Academy lost to Lisburn by 18 runs

Lisburn beat Cliftonville Academy by 18 runs in a contest reduced to 30 overs per side. Lisburn looked in trouble at 38 for 4 and 87 for 6 but a seventh wicket stand of 67 between James Hunter and Matthew Humphreys transformed their fortunes. Hunter hit 6 fours and a six in a top score of 53, while Humphreys cleared the ropes three times in his 42 as Lisburn made 180. Varun Chopra's even time 45 took CA to 93 for 3 in the chase, but he was one of four wickets for Ryan Macbeth, while there were three for Josh Manley and two for Matthew Humphreys in an 18-run win.

North Down lost to Muckamore by 20 runs

Muckamore prevailed by 20 runs in a high scoring contest against North Down at Comber. Ben Calitz top-scored with a fluent 80, hitting eight boundaries - the same as Luke Allen (67*) who added an unbroken 61 in just 34 balls for the 9th wicket with Shane Henderson (39*). Those late runs were needed as Ani Chore's 137 from 140 balls (13 fours, 3 sixes) looked to be steering the hosts to victory. James Shannon made a rapid 18-ball 43 but Muckamore prevailed with three wickets for Sathish Suresh.

CIYMS gave themselves some breathing space in the relegation battle as they chased 244 to beat Instonians by three wickets at Shaw's Bridge. Nikolai Smith top-scored with 74 (6 fours, 3 sixes) adding 72 for the 6th wicket with Jack Dickson, whose 45 included 2 fours and 3 sixes. The game was in the balance as the Belmont side reached 137 for 5 in the reply, but Max Burton's 49-ball 62 (4 fours, 3 sixes) swayed the contest as he added 84 for the sixth wicket with Carson McCullough (38) to all but settle the contest.
