Isle of Man have won the inaugural Women's Valletta Cup in Malta after beating Greece in the final today at the Marsa Sports Club.
The other teams involved in the tournament were Serbia, hosts Malta and an MCC side. The MCC side, which feartured Germany's Tina Gough and former England Test player Janet Godman, actually finished top after the round robin stage, but sportingly withdrew from the final so that it would be a T20I with ranking points at stake.
Malta finished fourth and Serbia last without a win, with Isle of Man and Malta finishing second and third respectively to secure their place in this afternoon's final.

Manx captain Alanya Thorpe won the toss and chose to bowl first, with her team restricting Greece to just 90-3 from their 20 overs. Maria Syrioti top scored with 25.
The Isle of Man had little trouble chasing down their target, doing so in 8.5 overs. The vast majority of the runs came off the bat of Lucy Barnett who clubbed an unbeaten 67 from 34 balls to secure a seven wicket win.
