Abtaha Maqsood, playing her 100th game for Scotland, won the toss and asked PNG to bat first. Only three batters for the Pacific islanders reached double figures with Naoani Vare's 44 and Brenda Tau's 38 the only scores of note. Darcey Carter was the pick of the Scottish bowlers with figures of 3-20.

Scotland lost wickets in their run chase with Sibona Jimmy taking three of them for only 19 runs. Saskia Horley held an end up though and scored an unbeaten 71 from 77 balls to help her team chase down their target in 27.2 overs and win by four wickets.

Scotland will close out this ODI tri-series tomorrow with a game against the currently unbeaten host side. To win the tri-series they will need to win by enough for the net run rate calculations to go in their favour.
