Callum Armstrong and Robbie McCollam put on a stand of 170 to lead Ireland to an 8-wickets win over Wales.

Chasing 277, Waringstown's Robbie McCollam hit 12 fours in a top score of 94, while Rush lef-hander Armstrong - son of former Irish international Conor - hit 8 fours and a six in his 90 not out.

There were runs too for Monday's centurion Gethin Kelleher, whose 27-ball 44 not out included 8 fours.

Kelleher had demonstrated his all-round abilities by taking two wickets, while Bonds Glen Mark Robinson also took two, while there were one apiece for Ben Walsh, Bobby Brolly and Zayan Malik.
