Jaxon Dines claimed 4 wickets for North Down (CricketEurope)
North Down overcame a shaky start to run out comfortable 74-run victors against Ardmore at the Bleachgreen. Mo Aahil fell in the first over - one of four wickets for Derish Joseph (4-24). However, Hamilton Coulter (32), Ryan Haire (27) and Ian Arthur (24) steadied the ship before skipper Ryan Galway powered his way to a top score of 45 (4 fours, 2 sixes) to take the Comber side to 169 for 8 - two wickets Bobby Brolly. The reply was soon in tatters as Jaxon Dines (4-32) and Tom Crothers (3-18) ripped through the top order. Paul McDowell's unbeaten 27 gave the total some respectability but the result was never in doubt.
