Champions Leinster finished the campaign on a winning note with a 37-run win over the hosts NW at Beechgrove. Sarah Prendergast has been the stand-out batter this week and she again was to the fore, making her third half century - her 56-ball 69 (10 fours) taking her tally to 296 runs. Her innings was the dominant one in a total of 120 for 6, with two wickets for Corinne Young (2-9) and one apiece for Tiara Mitchell, Mansi Bhavsar and Connie Block. The chase was always behind the required rate despite the best efforts of top-scorer Amelia Guy (15) and Leah Thompson (12*). Four wickets for Robyn Claxton (4-16), two for Erin Knight (2-10) and one each for Aoife Hayden, Sibha Bhoja and Genevieve Morrissey seeing the NW bowled out for 83.

The NCU made it three wins out of three in the T20 section of the tournament, winning by 41 runs at Ballyspallen. Opener Anna Ellerby hit 5 fours in her 50 as they posted 144 for 7 - Grace Wilson making 23 as the Dubliners used ten bowlers. Rebecca Lowe (3-7) took three early wickets but Sinead Thomson's 43 (5 fours) saw her add 64 for the 4th wicket with skipper Juliet Gargan as they ended on 103 for 4.
