BREADY YOUTH SHINES THROUGH
The North West Under 15 sides have been in good form this week in the interprovincial series, winning five of their six matches to date. Bready played a major role in that success with the Magheramason club having no fewer than 12 representatives – seven in the boys’ side and five in the girls. It’s a remarkable achievement and one of which the club is justifiably proud.
“It's something we work hard to provide opportunities for every young player in the club,” said Chair of Cricket David Scanlon. “We've seen a massive rise in girls playing cricket over the past number of years, which is brilliant for the game in the area.
“Bready is on an Under 13 tour of Liverpool at the minute which will enhance these players' experiences even more and help them develop as people as well. It’s all been organized by Colin Spence, ably supported on the trip with some of the youth coaches in the club.”
It certainly sounds like a winning formula for the dominant club at youth level in the region.
