North County beat the weather and Railway Union in the only fixture that managed to get a result in the top two divisions.

In a game reduced to 24 overs, Philippe Le Roux hit 8 fours and 2 sixes in his unbeaten 71 from just 48 balls.

Fakhar Zaman chipped in with 32 in a total of 153 for 8 - three wickets apiece for Abdul Sattar and Eddie Richardson.

The reply looked in trouble at 72 for 5 in the 14th over, but former Irish international Richardson proved to be the match winner with a quite brilliant unbeaten 94 from just 58 deliveries (8 fours, 5 sixes), adding 68 in 50 balls for the 6th wicket with Luke Whelan.

This result could go a long way to determining who returns to the top flight next season.
