Ulster Schools (Johnny Parker)
The weather won the day as the Schools' interpro clash ended in a draw at Osborne Park.
The home side added late runs with Sam Magee making 27 to reduce their first innings deficit to 24.
The Dijkstra brothers took a combined six wickets - Isaac 4-24, and Seb 2-35 - while skipper Hassan Shahid claimed two.
Leinster's powerful batting unit did well again in the second innings with Terenure's Gareth Morgan top-scoring with 54, while there were fine contributions from Ethan Clarke (45), Robert O'Brien (33), Seb Dijkstra (25) and Ryan Smith (23). The RBAI duo of Adam Leckey and Luka Bates each took two wickets.
A sporting declaration set up a target of 231, but with Ulster on 34 for 1 the rain arrived, set in and eventually led to both teams shaking hands on the draw.
