Batting first a solid batting effort saw the Dubliners post 211 for 6 in 55 overs, with skipper Hassan Shahid leading the way with a top score of 56. He added 72 for the third wicket with Robert O'Brien (42), while there were also 20's for openers Ryan Smith and Ethan Clarke, as well as Sean Sandys and Seb Dijkstra, 

Spinner Sam Haslett picked up 4 for 37, while there was two wickets for Adam Leckey. 

Ulster's reply was all about Ryan Hunter, who hit 11 fours in his fluent 72, but his demise has left the hosts in real trouble, facing a significant first innings deficit as they are still 74 adrift with three wickets and 11 overs left in the first innings.
