Gibraltar have won the Women's Central Europe Cup in Prague after topping the table after the final day of play yesterday.
Scheduled to play two games on the final day, Gibraltar needed to win both by big margins to top the table ahead of Croatia. They bowled the Estonians out for 62 in the first game of the day with Elizabeth Ferrary taking 3-11 and then chased their target in 11.4 overs without loss to win by ten wickets.
Ferrary then top scored in the second game of the day against hosts Czech Republic as her team scored 200-5 from their 20 overs. Ferrary and Lauren Payas added 147 for the fifth wicket with Ferrary contributing 68 and Payas eventually finishing unbeaten on 54.
Amy Bentar then took 4-8 with Yanira Blagg taking 3-14 as they bowled the Czechs out for 96 to win by 104 runs and top the table on net run rate, securing the title.
