Tim Tector's brilliant 128 inspired MCC to a 58-run win against the Irish Universities at Clontarf.
Tector hit 12 fours and 7 sixes in his 77-ball innings, sharing a second wicket stand of 161 in 20 overs with Timcy Khanduja, who had seven boundaries in his 56.
Daniel Forkin took three wickets in the MCC total of 293 for 6.
Sean O'Brien stroked 6 boundaries in a quick 38, sharing a second wicket stand of 58 with Jack Hall (25).
There were runs down the order too for James Rose (34), Rajesh (36) and Daniel Forkin (23), without ever threatening the total - finishing on 235 for 9.
