HANNAH HAPPY AS FOXIES BEAT BREADY TO LIFT T20 CHARITY CUP
Fox Lodge captain Hannah McLaughlin lifted the first silverware of the new season as her side chased 126 to beat Bready by six wickets in the T20 Charity final. The skipper and Mollie Devine shared a century stand in the victory.
“We were missing a few regular players, so we knew it was going to be difficult,” said McLaughlin. “However, the girls stepped up and made it a competitive game for spectators.
“I must give a special mention to joint player of the match Mollie Devine who did really well for us, as well as to all the girls who stepped up to bowl and played their first game of cricket in a while. It’s great to start the season with silverware.”
