Gibraltar wicket-keeper Sally Barton became the oldest ever international cricketer on Sunday after playing in the second game of a women's T20I series against Estonia at the Europa Sports Complex in the British overseas territory.
Barton was aged 66 years and 336 days for the game, beating the previous record for an officially sanctioned ICC match held by Portugal's Akbar Saiyyed, who played his last international aged 66 years and 12 days.
The previous record for a "full status" international was Turkey's Osman Goker (aged 59 years and 181 days) and the previous record in a women's international was Jersey's Rosa Hill, who played her last game aged 55 years and 81 days.
The series was the first ever women's T20Is for Gibraltar, with Estonia having one previous match against Norway last year.
The series was a successful one for the home side, who won all three games by wide margins. The first on Saturday was won by 100 runs, the seocnd on Sunday by 128 runs and the third later the same day by 88 runs.
