It looks as if Simi Singh's representative career with Leinster Lightning and Ireland is at an end.
The 37 year-old was given a two-year contract by Ireland in 2022, but has hardly featured since then, and not surprisingly it hasn't been renewed by the governing body.
Singh won 90 caps following his debut in 2017, taking 85 wickets at 26.84, as well scoring 965 runs at 16.36, which included a century against South Africa.
He has been a mainstay of a Lightning side that enjoyed domination of the interpros before recent restructuring.
It's understood Head Coach Andre Botha was keen to retain his services, but Simi ruled himself out of inclusion due to work commitments.
There was no mention of his absence in Monday's squad announcements.
Simi is the only player to have scored a century in all three formats - his aggregate haul of 2375 at just under 30 (9 fifties/four hundreds) only bettered by Ginger O'Brien and Andy McBrine.
With the ball Simi (123) is one of only six players to have passed 100 wickets in the modern interpro era - Craig Young (171), George Dockrell (137), Tyrone Kane (135), Andy McBrine (131), and Eddie Richardson (100) the others.
While it may be the last we see of Simi at representative level unless there is a major charge of heart, he is very much part of North County's plans as they hope to challenge for promotion this season.
The interpro season starts with the three-day Festival at Sydney Parade in two weeks.
