- Young player to watch: James Bell
There is a new captain at the helm for Coleraine with Matthew Smyth is charge for the upcoming campaign.
There are a few new faces at the club with Craig Averill back again from Carrick, while Lee Ritchie joins from Eglinton.
"We think these two will add a bit more depth than we have had in previous years in both the batting and bowling," said Smyth.
"There is a new pro coming with Indian top-order batsman and off-spin bowler Madhav Kaushik joining. He played first-class cricket last season and his arrival will certainly freshen things up from a professional perspective.
"As regards a young player to watch, then James Bell would be one to keep an eye on.Hopefully he will push on this season and show his undoubted potential, especially in the bowling department.
"Overall I'm very happy with the squad that we have, its depth and quality. We have a tough start with Ardmore, Brigade, and Newbuildings first up. It will give us an opportunity to lay down a marker early doors, push on, and hopefully bring some silverware back to Coleraine this year."
