Premiership champions Instonians have signed South African all-rounder Mihlali Mpongwana as their overseas professional for the 2024 campaign.

He is a 23 year-old right arm fast bowler, and a middle-order right-hand batsman.

Mihlali scored a century last month for his Western Province side, and his form has seen him called up to the South African A Test side that is taking on the West Indies.

Instonians will be hoping he isn't required by the senior SA side or they may have to be looking for another professional!
