It was a season of struggle for Woodvale, who finished 9th in the table just avoiding relegation, while there was no decent cup run to take their mind off their woes.
You don't have to be Sherlocck Holmes to see why they struggled with the lack of depth in both the batting and bowling alarming.
Their overseas player Ludwig Kaestner hit 936 runs at 62.40 with four hundreds and half centuries in an impressive return.
Ruhan Pretorius made six fifties and a century on his way to 837 runs at 49.24 - his strike/rate of 125 is also worthy of mention.
There's a huge gap then to third place with former international James Hall making 307 at 25.58 (1 hundred, 1 fifty), while Aditya Adey scored 252 at 15.75, and James Rose made 201 at 22.23.
The bowling was if anything worse, with only two bowlers taking 20 wickets or more, and none managing a five-wicket return.
Ruhan Pretorius led the way with 21 at 25.81, just ahead of Aditya Adey, who got 20 at 27.70.
There is quite the gulf then to Stephen Bunting and Carl Robinson who just crept into double figures with 10 at 39.10 and 48.70.
Woodvale will certainly be looking to stregthen over the close season, althought their first priority may be to cling on to Ruhan Pretorius who is attracting the attention of several Irish clubs.
