It was a season of mixed fortunes for Derriaghy who were relegated from the Premiership but lifted the Irish National Cup.
Their overseas player Patrick Kruger had a good season with the bat hitting two hundreds and five 50s as he made 843 at 56.20 - all at a strike/rate of 140.
Sam Gordon made 532 at 24.18 (2 fifties) and Jamie Magowan 504 at 26.53 (1 hundred, 1 fifty) - both on their way to pastures new at Carrick and Muckamore.
Others worthy of note are Matthew Halliday (483 at 24.15), Craig Lewis (363 at 18.15) and Jordan Wade (360 at 18).
The bowling list was led by Curtis Moorhead - also heading off next year to Moylena - as he took 37 wickets at just over 20.
Craig Lewis was just behind with 36 at 17.14, while Wayne Hughes claimed 25 wickets at a tad over 30, and Kruger 20 at just under 30.
The player exodus announced since relegation is a worry, but Derriaghy have bounced back before and I'm sure will be able to replenish the playing pool to ensur another promotion push in 2024.
