Out of form England batsman Joe Root has been added to the squad that will play Ireland this week.
The Yorkshire man had a lean time in the recent 3-1 series win over New Zealand, scoring just 39 runs in four innings.
England have named what is essentially a 'B' side, with Root's one game appearance asside, none of those named will be taking part in next month's World Cup.
