Paul Stirling will play in the Hundred final after being called up by the Oval Invincibles.

Ireland’s interim captain was player of the match in the inaugural competition in 2021 and although he hasn’t played a game in this year’s competition so far, he has been signed as an overseas replacement for players who have returned home for international duty.

Stirling could be facing Ireland team-mate Josh Little in the Lord’s final if his Manchester Originals team win their final eliminator against Southern Brave – Stirling’s team in 2021 – at The Oval.
