Ireland have named a 15-man squad for the T20I series against India at Malahide later this month.

Fionn Hand and Gareth Delany return to the squad, while Graham Hume and Neil Rock are left out from the 15 that qualified for the T20 World Cup last month in Scotland.

Leinster all-rounder Delany missed the tournament after breaking a bone in his wrist while fielding against Nepal in the 50-overs World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe.

India named their squad last week with a host of unfamiliar names which means Ireland could have a real opportunity to beat what is being described in the Indian media as 'a second-string squad'.

The three games take place on Friday August 18th, Sunday 20th, and Wednesday 23rd.
