Jack Carson has agreed a three-year contract extension with Sussex.
The Waringstown-born all-rounder has impressed the county with his consistent displays, grabbing a five-wicket haul against Yorskshire this year.
He has made 30 first-class appearances, taking 83 wickets and was impressive for England Lions in Sri Lanka earlier in the year.
"I am really pleased to extend my contract," aid Carson on the Sussex club website.
"I've massively enjoyed this season and believe we can push forward over the next few seasons to achieve success."
Carson is also no mug with the bat, having made back-to-back Championship 50's vesus Worcestershire.
Another young Waringstown hopeful is also plying his trade at Sussex.
18 year-old Sam Topping is a talented wicket-keeper batsman who is hoping to emulate Carson in forging a career in the professional game.
Although currently injured, he has impressed in his feldgling appearances at youth and second XI level in England.
