JAKE EGAN’S century and a five-wicket haul for Alex Haggan helped Carrickfergus to victory over Cliftonville Academy. Egan hit 10 fours and two sixes in his 104 – exactly half of their 208 total, sharing a second wicket stand of 70 with Iain Parkhill (36).
Matty McCord (4-34) finished the innings off with a hat-trick, while there were three wickets too for Jared Wilson. The pair then combined in a sixth wicket stand of 78 that looked to be steering CA to their target of 213. However, Haggan’s five wicket-haul, including the crucial dismissal of Wilson for 94 (10 fours, 4 sixes) sealed victory.
Waringstown’s James Cameron-Dow struck the last ball for six to seal a dramatic one-wicket win over CSNI. Needing two off the last ball, Cameron-Dow cleared the ropes with a huge blow.

Instonians beat Derriaghy with runs from Shane Dadswell (96) and Shane Getkate (77) who shared a fourth wicket stand of 154 in 21 overs. Jack Dickson then hit 7 sixes in a 19-ball 60 as Inst’ made 317. Andrew White took four wickets in the Derriaghy reply.
In the NW, Killyclooney’s dream season continued as Blayde Capell’s fourth century took his season tally to 999 runs and his team to a three-wickets win over Eglinton. Brigade are top after Adam McDaid’s unbeaten 68 saw them beat Strabane, while Fox Lodge captain Aaron Heywood took five wickets in their win over Glendermott.
Donemana’s stand-in skipper Jordan McGonigle went one better as he took six wickets as his team thumped Ballyspallen.
There was a father versus son battle in the game at Burndennett, with teenager Gavin Roulston getting one over on his father Mark, as he made an unbeaten 90 to guide Bready to a six-wickets win.
Ardmore are still unbeaten with four wickets apiece from Dharm Singh and Aviwe Mgijima dismissing St Johnston for just 90, while half centuries from Marcus Poskitt and Ravi Karunaratne led Coleraine to an 87-run win over Bonds Glen.
