There were mixed results for Irish Universities who had a convincing win over Scotland but were on the wrong end of a thrashing by hosts Cambridge in their annual tournament.

Will Todd (41), David Cosgrave (16) and Mikey O'Reilly (12) were their only double figure contributors as they were bundled out for 97 by Cambridge.

Abhinav Ramisetty's unbeaten 50 saw the English University win by 9 wickets in the 19th over.

There were better fortunes in Tuesday's game with Trinity's David Cosgrave and Gavin Hoey in the runs.

Cosgrave top-scored with 97, while Hoey hit 50 as they racked up 289 for 8.

They restricted Scotland to 199 with two wickets apiece for Sam Willemse, Junaid Riaz, Cillian McDonnell and Davy O'Halloran.
