Killyclooney lost a thriller by just two runs at home in the Senior Cup to Ardmore, and will look to bounce back from that disappointment as they host Templepatrick in the National Cup on Saturday.
Skipper Timmy Dougherty has the task of lifting his young charges for the clash as they look to reach the National Cup final for a second time - having been beaten by Carrickfergus at Downpatrick back in 2014.
"Saturday was a tight one to come out the wrong side of," said Dougherty. "But a positive to take away, was almost chasing the score. Good effort all around with our bowling and fielding. Maybe the middle order just needs to find the rhythm to get the team really ticking.
"On our day we can give anyone a game, we are preparing to face Templepatrick at home this weekend and hopefully we can do enough to get what we want from it.
"Confident in the lads to get the job done, as there seems to be a good feel around the club from the start of the season with a few of our players finding early form and the addition of our pro Blayde who has hit the ground running.
"Hopefully turns out to be a good contest and we can get our names in the hat for the next round."
