George Dockrell skippers Leinster Lightning as the Dubliners look to wrestle back the 50-overs title they lost for only the second time last season.
Dockrell is one of six Irish internationals in the squad, four of whom were involved in the World Cup Super League Series against Bangladesh this week.
Josh Little and Andrew Balbirnie are missing, so Head Coach Nigel Jones and his assistant Brian O'Rourke have given opportunities to Adam Rosslee - YMCA's young South African prodigy, who is looking to follow in Curtis Campher's foot steps and play for Ireland. He was one of the stand-out players in the 2022 Future Series.
He is one of five YM players - the Tector brothers, left-armer Mikey O'Reilly and teenage speedster Reuben Wilson the others.
Vice-captain Lorcan Tucker is joined by Sydney Parade team mates Gavin Hoey - who has impressed many observers with his all-round game this year and could be making a step up sooner rather than later - and Barry McCarthy.
Irish international all-rounder Fionn Hand, The Hills' Mark Donegan and new North County signing Mark Donegan complete the line -up.
Lightning face Northern Knights on Tuesday and Munster Reds on Thursday - both games at Sydney Parade.
