After an all conquering 2021, it was by their high standards a rather disappointing 2022 season for Brigade, but the Beechgrove side will be hopeful of a league challenge this campaign.

Andy Britton is captain once again and he will be hoping the elbow injury that hampered his bowling last year has been cleared following surgery.

Ireland Academy player Cameron Melly joins, and the all-rounder who is studying at Cardiff is highly rated in Irish circles.

Ireland U19 international Scott Macbeth - named this week too in the Ireland Wolves squad - is another major signing.

Opening bowler Josh Wilson - so of former Brigade player Gregory - has also joined from Ballyspallen.

On the debit side the club are bitterly disappointed to have lost former Irish international Graeme McCarter to St Johnston, while Kyle Magee has gone to Bready.
