YMCA all-rounder Ehtesham Ahmed and Malahide's James Newland are part of the MCC squad that is embarking on a tour of Belize.

They are taking part in the Central American Championships, and will play against the hosts Belize, as well as Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico.

The T20 tournament gets under way on Thursday.

Other tours planned this year include trips to Austria, Greece and Kenya.
