The formal unveiling of a scoreboard clock in memory of Roy Torrens took place on Saturday during the interval of the Brigade versus Coleraine match.
The clock was presented to the club by the Cricket Writers of Ireland in memory of the former Cricket Ireland Manager, President and player amongst a host of other roles.
The money was raised from sponsorship in a book dedicated to his memory compiled by Ger Siggins, Barry Chambers and David Townsend from the Cricket Writers.
Former Cricket Ireland President Robin Walsh spoke at the unveiling, along wth Brigade Chairman Wilson Manning, and NW General Manager Peter McCartney.
Amongst the special guests were Roy's wife Joan, his three daughters, as well as other family members including his brother Ian, who had flown in from America for the occasion.
The sun shone on a day where the large crowd enjoyed entertainment on and off the pitch, with Brigade winning the match, thanks to a half century from skipper Andy Britton.
