It was a successful 2022 for Leinster as the Rathmines club secured promotion to the Premiership after securing the Championship title.

Bilal Azhar is captain of the Rathmines side, who have signed young Australian all-rounder Peter Francis as their overseas professional.

Also joining are Michael Hogan, Dev Ranolia, Monil Patel and Jai Moondra who will add quality and depth to their line-up.

"We have signed Peter Francis a young Australian all rounder.," said Leinster Coach Jarryd Chetty. "He will add depth to our batting and bowling departments. Exciting prospect for the club this year. 

"We have built a good squad over the last few years and added a few quality players this season.

"Michael Hogan also joins us for his second stint at the club, excited to have him back on board.

"The lads have been training since last November so we are well prepared and looking forward to a successful season."

Leinster begin the season with T20 matches against North Kildare and Merrion at Rathmines.
